Why is System Data on my iPhone so large?
System Data is mostly caches, logs and streaming buffers. It grows as you use the phone and iOS trims it automatically when space runs low, but a restart and clearing Safari's cache usually reclaims several gigabytes immediately.
Does offloading an app delete my data?
No. Offloading removes the app binary but keeps its documents and data, so reinstalling restores everything. Deleting the app removes both.
Will iCloud Photos free up space on my iPhone?
Only with Optimise iPhone Storage enabled. That keeps smaller versions locally and full-resolution copies in iCloud. Without it, every original stays on the device.
